HALLOWEEN BUILD CHALLENGE #2
We are so excited the Jack-O-Lanterns were such a fun time! We hope we are giving you an idea of what we do at Brick League and hopefully have sparked an interest into these build challenges. The ones here will be a little different than we do during sessions. For our sessions we dive deep into a STEM foundation of each build challenge. For this one here, we will give you a simple challenge and let you all rise to the occasion. I love all things Halloween, and LEGO doesn't escape that craving for all things with a spooky vibe. Also, consider adding your friends to the page as submissions will be posted and voted on. The most votes for each week wins, and the more the merrier? Its not time for that Christmas fluff, I meant the more the spookier!!
WEEK TWO CHALLENGE: GRAVEYARD!!!
When you think about Halloween what are the first images to come into your mind? Most of us associate this spooky holiday with trick or treating, pumpkins as lanterns and all sorts of costumes, especially those of the ghostly variety.
But most of the things we know about Halloween are pretty new traditions. To find the origins of Halloween we can look to the Celtic tribes who practiced paganism. They believed that the dividing line between the living and the dead became dangerous for the living on October 31 when the weather turned cold, leading to sickness and damage to crops. Graveyards take on an especially spooky feel during the Halloween season, particularly those with ancient stories to tell. In fact, many cultures and religions celebrate Halloween, or the time around it, in similar ways. All considering the veil between worlds is thin, a graveyard is Halloween to the core.

Be as creative as you want. Think outside the box on these challenges. Remember, they will be voted on to determine the winner. So, add your friends and family, and get your LEGO ready for some Halloween fun! No shares necessary, or likes of a page, just some good Halloween fun with LEGO! Be sure to add yourself to our email list to get the blog updates- those will have the rest of the challenges posted!!
